Turgut Tunçalp joins the cast of ratings sensation A.B.I.!
The hit Tuesday night drama A.B.I., produced by OGM Pictures and directed by Cem Karcı, is adding a powerhouse name to its ensemble. Veteran actor Turgut Tunçalp has officially joined the series, which stars Turkish A-listers Kenan İmirzalıoğlu and Afra Saraçoğlu.
Tunçalp, who recently appeared in the OGM Pictures production Sahipsizler, will make his debut in Episode 14. He is set to portray “İhtiyar”, described as a loyal and long-time friend of Doğan (Kenan İmirzalıoğlu) from İzmir—a character Doğan trusts with his entire life.
As the writer’s room (including Eylem Canpolat and Deniz Gürlek) continues to weave complex narratives, fans are also buzzing about the mysterious character “Şimşek.” While casting for Şimşek remains under wraps, the character is expected to make a grand entrance toward the season finale.
With its star-studded cast and high-stakes storytelling, A.B.I. continues to dominate the Turkish television landscape and maintain its position as a fan favorite on social media.
