MIPCOM, the International Co-Production and Entertainment Content Fair held in Cannes, France and covering 16 – 19 October, brought together television channels, producers and actors from different countries. The duo, who showed sympathetic attitudes by giving interviews to the foreign press, were one of the most talked about names of the fair. Regarding the series, Burçin Terzioğlu said, “We are very happy that the work we do in our country is finding response in international markets. While we tell stories specific to our own culture, our content also includes universal values. Even though the language we speak is different, the most important thing in what we do is to convey the emotion to the audience. And I think we have been able to successfully present this to the world with great dedication with our scriptwriters, directors, actors and technical teams,” she said.
Onur Tuna said the following about Sarmaşık Zamanı (The Ivy): “Our director adopted the script very well. We felt confident enough to surrender ourselves to the story. I think that the work we have done is more consistent in terms of story than the work that could be equivalent to this project. We are an advanced country in conveying our true stories. That’s why I think our drama projects attract attention.”
