The broadcast date of “Balkan Ninnisi”, one of the ambitious productions that TRT 1 will bring to the screen in the summer season, has been announced. The first episode of the series will air on TRT 1 at 20.00 on Tuesday, June 21.
Emre Bey and Merih Öztürk and master actors Erdal Özyağcılar and Özlem Türkad are playing the leading roles in the series. In addition, the cast of the series includes successful names such as Hakan Boyav, Can Kolukısa, Suzan Akbelge, Sarp Bozkurt, Gözde Çığacı, Deniz Gürkan, Emine Halil, Burak Rahman, Süleyman Kara, Kaan Turgut, Bennu Şahin and Erman Saban.
“Balkan Ninnisi” tells the story of the struggle of two young people from different nationalities to achieve the impossible for the sake of their love in Skopje, which remained an Ottoman city for 600 years, where Turks and Albanians lived on one side and Macedonians on the other.
In the series, Turkish and Macedonian families, whose lives intersect before, meeting in a historical mansion as a twist of fate, and two young people who love each other to death, will reflect on the screens. Doğan Ümit Karaca and Volkan Kapkın are the directors of the “Balkan Lullaby” series.

“Balkan Ninnisi”, whose screenplay was written by Uğur Uzunok, Nurullah Zengin, Abdülhamid Işık and Esma Koç, brings together popular Balkan melodies and Turkish works in the same pot. Alper Atakan will perform the musics of the “Balkan Lullaby”.
“Balkan Ninnisi” will air on TRT 1 on Tuesday, June 21 at 20:00.
