Rüzgarlı Pazar series with İsmail Hacıoğlu and Ayça Ayşin Turan starts soon!

The upcoming drama series Rüzgarlı Pazar is gearing up to meet its audience, with filming set to begin in Istanbul this April. Produced and written by Uğur Uzunok, the series will feature acclaimed actor İsmail Hacıoğlu in the lead role. Adapted from Mustafa Kutlu’s novel same, the show will take viewers on a nostalgic journey to the 1990s, telling the heartfelt story of a young boy who carries the weight of supporting his family. At the core of the series is the character Ateş, whose struggles and resilience will drive the narrative forward.
Casting for Rüzgarlı Pazar is still underway as the production team finalizes the ensemble. Directed by Berat Özdoğan, the show is a fresh adaptation of Mustafa Kutlu’s literary work. While the original story was set in the 1990s, the series itself will unfold in the early 2000s and revolve around the unique concept of a marketplace established on a pedestrian overpass. The eight-episode drama is set to premiere on TRT Tabii, with İsmail Hacıoğlu playing the lead role of Ateş and Ayça Ayşin Turan starring as Nimet. The identity of Turan’s on-screen partner is expected to be announced soon, adding further intrigue to the production.
The script, co-written by Uğur Uzunok and Esma Koç, has attracted two more notable names to the cast. Renowned actor Uğur Aslan and rising star Sude Zülal Güler, last seen in Zembilli, have officially joined the project. Uğur Aslan will portray the character Recep, while Sude Zülal Güler will take on the role of Büşra. Filming is set to take place on a specially designed set in Kemerburgaz, with cameras rolling at the start of next week.
With its strong cast, compelling storyline, and a unique setting, Rüzgarlı Pazar is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated new drama series of the year.
