Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı is on screen with the season finale!
TRT 1’s popular series Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı (Mehmed: Sultan of Conquests) is making its season finale with the 49th episode to be broadcast on the evening of June 10. The series, which has kept viewers glued to the screen all season long, is about the epic life of Sultan Mehmed.
Starring Serkan Çayoğlu, Selim Bayraktar, Seçkin Özdemir, Tuba Ünsal, Sinan Albayrak, Esila Umut, Sena Çakır, Kenan Çoban, Ertuğrul Postoğlu, Osman Soykut, Serdar Gökhan, Turgay Tanülkü and Ghassan Massoud.
In the season finale, events escalate when Çandarlı falls into Zağanos’ trap and confesses his past secrets to Sultan Mehmed. While Mehmed has Çandarlı thrown into the dungeon, Zağanos waits for the position of grand vizier. However, with Sultan Mehmed’s surprise decision, Mahmud Pasha is summoned to the capital. The arrival of Mahmud, who saved the Evrenosoğullari in Pontus, shakes Çandarlı to the core and the end of the road appears for him.
On the other hand, the Janissaries are ready to revolt to stop Çandarlı’s execution. Kurtçu tries to calm them down, but the Janissaries defy even Kurtçu and revolt. Will this rebellion succeed or will they face the wrath of Sultan Mehmed?
At the climax of the episode, the trial takes place with Sultan Mehmed as the plaintiff and Çandarlı as the defendant. The accusations are read, Çandarlı is found guilty and the execution is ordered.
