İsmail Hacıoğlu and Özgü Kaya begin a new journey in Ayvalık with Cennetin Çocukları. TRT 1’s new drama series Cennetin Çocukları invites viewers into a moving and hopeful story set against the picturesque backdrop of Ayvalık. Produced by Motto Productions and directed by Soner Caner, the series promises an emotional journey of redemption, love, and second chances.
At the heart of the story is İskender, a man who was imprisoned as a child. When he finally regains his freedom, his only dream is to reunite with his family. Yet the path ahead is filled with betrayal, conspiracies, and life-threatening trials. Deceived by Ayla (Melisa Şensolun), İskender finds himself trapped in a ruthless plot. When he opens his eyes, he awakens to an entirely different world—where he meets Dr. Gönül (Özgü Kaya). This encounter marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life in Ayvalık.
As İskender struggles to break free from his dark past, his greatest source of strength becomes Gönül’s compassion and unwavering faith in him. Among olive trees and family tables, Ayvalık offers him both challenges and the possibility of rebirth.
His journey begins in the back of a truck filled with goats—a symbol of the hardships that lie ahead.
