The devastating consequences of the earthquake, which affected 14 million people and caused damage in a total of 10 provinces, causing death and injury to many people, mobilized the whole society. Many TV series actors both support existing organizations and carry out various charity activities through social media with their own efforts. Among these names are Serenay Sarıkaya and Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, the two leading actors of the Family series.

Just after the earthquake, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, like Oktay Kaynarca, contacted musician Haluk Levent and participated in the negotiations regarding the purchase of various materials for the use of the charitable funds collected by the Ahbap Association. The successful player, who communicated with the authorities, took action with the Ahbap team to deliver the supplied materials.

The fact that Serenay Sarıkaya, who has been away from the television screen for a long time, will return to the screen with a new series has excited her fans, but with this earthquake disaster, the plans have been turned upside down. In this process, the actress works with volunteers at a charity center in Istanbul to help earthquake victims.

She participated in the preparations to be sent to the earthquake-affected areas in the event area established in Yenikapı. The actress, who was criticized for not sharing a statement right after the earthquake, stated that she was in despair and had nothing to say in her statement 2 days later.
