Information about the life of Birce Akalay

She is the only child of a family of four generations from Istanbul. Her mother is a housewife and her father is a businessman. Her biggest dream as a child; was to open a ballet school. She danced with great love for 13 years, and at the age of 16 she had to stop dancing because she was injured. But somehow dance has always been in her life.

After graduating from Pera Fine Arts High School Theater Department, she won the Department of Theater Criticism and Dramaturgy at Istanbul University, but left school when she was in the third grade and started preparing for her high school love, theater. She won the Haliç University Conservatory Theater Department and completed her education there.

She took her first step into acting with the character of “Lamia”, which she portrayed in the television series Kader in 2007. The TV series “Yer Gök Aşk”, in which he took part in 2010-2013 and played for three seasons, was a turning point in acting for Birce Akalay and suddenly attracted attention.
