Mert Fırat joins Netflix’s gripping new drama Sonra Gözler Görür!
Acclaimed Turkish actor Mert Fırat is set to star in Netflix’s upcoming drama series “Sonra Gözler Görür”, produced by Ay Yapım. Fırat will portray the intriguing character Cüneyt, marking his highly anticipated return to the screen after his recent performance in the film “Hakikatin Ölümü”, written and directed by Hüseyin Karabey.
The 8-episode series is based on Hikmet Hükümenoğlu’s novel of the same name and brings together screenwriter Ece Yörenç and director Bertan Başaran for the second time following their previous success with “Kimler Geldi Kimler Geçti”.
“Sonra Gözler Görür” follows the story of renowned journalist Ezgi Sezgin, who unexpectedly finds herself entangled in a web of murder and complicated relationships. As the mystery unfolds, Cüneyt—played by Mert Fırat—emerges as a key figure in this psychological thriller.
The cast also includes Uğur Aslan as Mert, Fırat Çelik as Bedri, and Başak Daşman as Mercan. With its gripping narrative and strong cast, the series is expected to become one of Netflix Turkey’s most talked-about productions.
The female lead who will portray Ezgi Sezgin has yet to be announced, adding further intrigue to this already highly anticipated series.
