FOX’s new series “Ego”, produced by Pastel Film’s Efe İrvül and Yaşar İrvül, directed by Doğa Can Anafarta and written by Erkan Birgören and Tuna Görgün, will be on FOX screens every Sunday.
The subject of EGO series;
Erhan (Alperen Duymaz) and Elif (Rüya Helin Demirbulut) are an engaged couple who love each other very much and their biggest expectation from life is to get married and build a happy home. The routine of their lives is disrupted by Erhan’s tragic deception, and Erhan is faced with a debt that is difficult to pay. Erhan’s life and psychology will be turned upside down with this news that the couple received on a business trip with Elif. While debt, which is almost impossible to pay, has turned their lives into a nightmare, the offer made by Erhan’s boss Sibel (Melisa Aslı Pamuk) to Erhan will change the couple’s lives forever.

Alperen Duymaz as Erhan Yıldırım
Erhan is a child abandoned by his mother at the age of five. He grew up in Bursa with his alcoholic father. The only reason she’s studying to win the university entrance exam is to get away from her father and his depressed, angry world. He wins a good university in Istanbul. He saves his life by working and studying at the same time. When he met Elif two years after his father’s death, he felt at first sight that she was the woman he wanted to start a family with. He adopted Elif’s family as his own and felt the warmth of home with them. Erhan, who has a bright future with his ambitious and hardworking nature in his career, makes a big investment in the stock market with a tip he got to offer the best conditions to his fiancee Elif. For this investment, they mortgage Elif’s father’s house and take a large amount of loan. But when that investment melts away with the stock market crash, he finds himself in a stalemate. At this point, life offers her an opportunity through Sibel. Erhan’s decision against this opportunity is also the crossroads of his life. Accepting Sibel’s offer is only a rational solution for Erhan against his financial problems. The line that divides Erhan’s life into before and after is the moment she accepts Sibel’s offer.
Melisa Aslı Pamuk as Sibel Koraslan
She is the middle child of the Koraslan family. Sibel, who usually assumes the task of balancing in the family is the rebellious child of the family in her father’s eyes. She has a strong character that defends what she believes, without reservation. She is confident. She is someone who is aware of her intelligence and skills. After college, she made her career and business life among her priorities, despite her mother’s efforts to guide her to start a family. She is a perfectionist both in her professional life and in her private life. She has little tolerance for mistakes. The big break in Sibel’s character was realized as a result of her traumatic relationship with Cüneyt in the past. After Cüneyt, Sibel did not trust any man and could not have a relationship. She is completely devoted to her business life, she works day and night in pursuit of ideals. Despite her father’s objections, she entered the fashion industry and aims to prove herself in this field. Sibel’s learning that she has three months to have a child is the second big break in her life. Sibel wants a real family. She will believe that Erhan is the one who can give her the real family she desires, and she will devise an extraordinary strategy to win him over.
Ahmet Kayakesen as Tuncay Koraslan
In his 30s, he is Tahir’s middle child. He was crushed under his father’s authority and found different ways to breathe in his own way. Tuncay, who made a marriage he didn’t want at a young age because of his father’s force, is very unhappy with this marriage. He loves wealth. He does not get along well with Sibel. Her perspective on life changes when she learns that she has a son from her ex. Realizes that it is important to be a father of a boy. He is extroverted, flirtatious, unreliable. He is a ruthless, ambitious and assertive man in the business world.
Rüya Helin Demirbulut as Elif Tekin
She is the first child of a husband and wife who married lovingly. Hand baby rose baby has been grown with love. While Elif is in primary school, her brother Arda is born. Elif loves her brother very much and always protects and watches. It’s clear that he inherited her mother’s traits. She has a caring, motherly nature. It cares about peace and happiness. The childlike spirit she sees in him also lies under her love for Erhan. The biggest pain of Elif’s life is the early loss of her mother. The fact that her father still mourns her mother upsets Elif. After her mother, Elif’s role in the family has also changed. She has ceased to be a child of the house and has become a parent who takes care of the house, his father and her brother. After the trauma they experienced in their relationship with Erhan, with Sibel’s proposal, a heavy burden is placed on Elif’s shoulders. Derya Beşerler as Begüm Koraslan
Begüm is a slender, petite but tough-looking, unhappy woman between the ages of 30-35. He pays a lot of attention to his appearance, accessories, shoes. She has an expensive but fine taste in clothing. She dresses from a few special jewelers, special boutiques in London and Milan. Begüm’s dreams of a glazed mansion are shattered when she collides with the reality of the family and Tuncay in the house she enters as a fairy tale princess. While She thinks she is marrying with great love, she realizes that she is part of a project marriage and will only be honored in that house if she gives birth to a son. Tuncay is constantly cheating on her.
Erdal Kömürcüoğlu as Tahir Koraslan
He is the head of the Koraslan family. He is in his 60’s. He started his career by working in a small hotel in Antalya, and today he is the owner of a large tourism holding. He is ambitious and loves to work. He never compromises his own truth. It is conservative and traditional. He is ruthless at work. He wants everyone to live by his rules. He does not like to be spoken over his word. He is domineering towards his family. He is distant towards his bride Begüm and her grandchildren. This is because he wants a grandson who can continue his lineage. He is a troubled, obsessive man who does not know what to do. He’s not really a good father. The distant and harsh attitude he adopts to his children is due to the authoritarian father attitude he has established in his mind. He wants his children to be more successful than him, but he can’t bear to have them break his word.
Tuna Orhan as Burhan Tekin
Burhan, a retired teacher, is the father of Elif and Arda. He trusts his daughter Elif and groom candidate Erhan very much. For this reason, he mortgaged the house, which is a heirloom from his wife, and took a loan of 3 million and gave it to Erhan. All she wants is for her daughter to be happy and to have a peaceful family.
Emirhan Dönmez as Arda Tekin
Arda is Elif’s brother. Arda loves his older sister Elif and his brother-in-law Erhan very much. While preparing for the university exam after high school, he also works in a rental taxi to support his family. Arda wants to be his own boss.
Hülya Gülşen as Şükran Koraslan
Şükran is Sibel’s mother and Tahir Koraslan’s wife. Şükran tries to be a bridge between her children and her husband Tahir. All he wants in life is for his family and children to be well and happy.
