A sinopse da série Bambaşka Biri (Someone Else) é a seguinte;
Hande Erçel interpreta a personagem Leyla Gediz, uma destemida Promotora Pública, na série. Quando Leyla Gediz retorna a Istambul para trabalhar, três anos depois, ela se vê envolvida em um misterioso e desafiador caso de assassinato. Durante a investigação, ele cruza o caminho do famoso e bem-sucedido âncora Kenan e sua vida muda irrevogavelmente. Enquanto Leyla lida com um caso de assassinato que vai muito além, ela também será testada pelas pessoas mais próximas a ela.
