Synopsis of the Taşacak Bu Deniz series is as follows;
Taşacak Bu Deniz brings the endless struggle between two rival families to the screen against the wild and unforgiving landscape of the Black Sea. At the heart of the story are Adil and Esme, whose troubled past, long-standing hostility, and unresolved feelings continue to fuel the conflict between their families.
The story takes a new turn when Eleni arrives from Greece in search of her biological mother. Her journey leads her to Dr. Oruç Furtana. Coming from completely different worlds, Oruç and Eleni find themselves caught in the middle of the families’ bitter feud, while also facing an unexpected love that neither of them was prepared for.
As tensions rise and unexpected events bring old wounds back to the surface, the characters are forced to confront difficult choices between love and hatred, loyalty and freedom.
Blending Adil and Esme’s passionate yet painful love story with the harsh mountains and stormy atmosphere of the Black Sea, Taşacak Bu Deniz offers a gripping tale of love, family conflict, survival, and deeply rooted rivalries.
The cast of the series Taşacak Bu Deniz is as follows;
Ulaş Tuna Astepe as Adil Koçari
Adil Koçari is the head of the Koçari family. Tough, authoritarian, and unwilling to play by anyone else’s rules, he is a true Black Sea man. Yet beneath his hardened exterior lies an uncontrollable weakness for Esme.
Adil’s father was killed by Esme’s husband, Şerif, who spent twenty years in prison for the crime. Years earlier, Adil and Esme had met at the old fishermen’s shelter where the guesthouse now stands. They secretly married and planned to run away together, but Esme was forced to marry Şerif instead.
That separation left Adil with a wound that never truly healed.
Deniz Baysal as Esme Furtuna
Esme Çavuş is the authoritarian head and protector of Furtuna village, and the wife of the imprisoned Şerif. Years of pain and loss have hardened her into a fearless Black Sea woman who does not hesitate to fight back when necessary.
The deaths of Şirin’s husband and eldest son have dragged the two families into a bloody cycle of revenge. At the same time, Esme remains torn between the great love she once shared with Adil and the honor and responsibilities that define her life.
