Seda Bakan and Uğur Güneş team up in Rüya Gibi!
Filming is in full swing for Rüya Gibi (“Like a Dream”), the brand-new TV series from TMC Film, which brings together two beloved stars of Turkish television — Seda Bakan and Uğur Güneş — in a story where love, ambition, and destiny collide.
Originally titled Kadife Kelepçe, the series has been officially renamed Rüya Gibi, a title that reflects the dreamlike contrast between reality and illusion at the heart of the story. The series is produced by Erol Avcı for TMC Film, written by Emre Özdür, Hazar Kozice, and İdil Ezgi Esen, and directed by Selim Demirdelen, a name known for his cinematic visual style and emotional storytelling.
A Star-Studded Cast
The ensemble cast features some of Turkey’s most talented actors alongside Bakan and Güneş: Ahsen Eroğlu, Emre Bey, Şebnem Bozoklu, Celil Nalçakan, Devrim Yakut and Menderes Samancılar — with strong supporting performances from Alya, Yeliz Korkmaz, Burcu Kirman, Yağmur Özbasmacı, Deniz Altan, Toprak Kahraman, Alper Kut, Furkan Murat Uğur, Ferzan Hekimoğlu, Aslıhan Çelik, Kerim İlhan, Taylan Güldere, Selçuk Borak, Enes Bay, and Arzu Oruç.

At the heart of Rüya Gibi is Aydan (Seda Bakan), a hardworking hairdresser living in one of Istanbul’s modest neighborhoods. Her life takes a surprising turn when she suddenly becomes the owner of a luxury beauty salon — a place far removed from the world she knows.
Behind this transformation stands the mysterious business tycoon Emir (Uğur Güneş), a man whose wealth and influence conceal secrets no one dares to uncover. As Aydan tries to adapt to her dazzling new surroundings, she must also deal with Çiğdem (Ahsen Eroğlu), her rebellious partner who grew up in an orphanage and seems to attract trouble wherever she goes.
Meanwhile, Efe (Emre Bey), a fearless police officer investigating Emir, finds his path crossing with both Çiğdem and Aydan — entangling them all in a dangerous web of passion, ambition, and betrayal.
Between Love, Chaos, and the Past
As Aydan navigates the glittering yet treacherous world of beauty and business, her closest confidante is Fiko (Şebnem Bozoklu), a loyal manicurist with a big heart and sharp wit. But life becomes even more complicated when Aydan’s ex-husband Tarık (Celil Nalçakan) — a talented but jealous hairdresser — reappears, unable to accept her newfound success and constantly stirring trouble.
In this dreamlike yet perilous new life, Aydan will have to confront who she truly is and decide whether the dream she’s living is a gift — or a trap.
