Netflix’s new series Old Money has been released!

Netflix has officially started the countdown for its upcoming Turkish original series Old Money (Enfes Bir Akşam), which will premiere worldwide on October 10, 2025. The series brings together two of Turkey’s most beloved actors, Engin Akyürek and Aslı Enver, in a story that explores power, passion, and the struggle between two different worlds. Even before its release, Old Money (Enfes Bir Akşam) has already become one of the most talked-about productions on social media and within the television industry.
Written by Meriç Acemi, known for As the Crow Flies and Love 101, and directed by Uluç Bayraktar, who previously worked on iconic series such as Ezel, Karadayı, and İçerde, Old Money (Enfes Bir Akşam) is produced by TIMS & B Productions, the studio behind the internationally acclaimed Magnificent Century. With this powerful creative team, the series promises a gripping story told with cinematic depth and visual sophistication.
At the heart of the story are two powerful characters. Osman, played by Engin Akyürek, is a self-made businessman who has risen from nothing to build his own empire. He is ambitious, relentless, and willing to bend every rule to succeed. Opposite him stands Nihal, portrayed by Aslı Enver, a woman from an old and respected seafaring family who represents grace, intelligence, and heritage. Beneath her refined exterior lies a sharp mind and a deep understanding of power and diplomacy.
The plot follows the collision of these two very different worlds—old money versus new money, tradition versus ambition. Their meeting sparks not only a passionate love story but also a clash of values, methods, and ambitions. Through Osman and Nihal’s relationship, the series examines how love can become both a bridge and a battlefield between opposing ideals.
The supporting cast of Old Money (Enfes Bir Akşam) includes some of Turkey’s most talented actors, such as Dolunay Soysert, İsmail Demirci, Serkan Altunorak, Taro Emir Tekin, Selin Şekerci, Sedef Avcı, Zeynep Oymak, Armağan Oğuz, and Ahmet Utlu. Together, they create a multi-layered story set against the backdrop of Istanbul’s high society, where loyalty, ambition, and desire constantly collide.
