“Rüya Gibi” centers around Aydan, a woman trying to rebuild her life after discovering her husband’s infidelity. Played by Seda Bakan, Aydan chooses to stand on her own feet by returning to her profession as a hairdresser. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she boards a luxury yacht for work and crosses paths with Emir, a powerful and enigmatic figure from the criminal underworld, portrayed by Uğur Güneş.
The collision of Emir’s dangerous, shadow-filled life with Aydan’s struggle to start over forms the emotional and dramatic backbone of the series. Screenwriters Emre Özdür, Hazar Kozice, and İdil Ezgi Esen craft a narrative full of twists and surprises, while acclaimed director Selim Demirdelen brings the story to life with a compelling visual style.
With its strong storyline, striking atmosphere, and stellar cast, “Rüya Gibi” stands out as one of the most ambitious dramas of the season. Blending drama, suspense, and emotional depth, the series invites viewers into a world where nothing is as it seems and every encounter carries a new revelation.
“Rüya Gibi” premieres Tuesday, December 2 on Show TV.
