Afra Saraçoğlu told the curious things about herself!

Afra Saraçoğlu combined her beauty with her talent and managed to become one of the most followed stars of the screens in a short time. The young star inspires young people with her determination, attitude and the light she emits from the screen. Afra Saraçoğlu, who plays the leading role in the Yalı Çapkını series, told Harper’s Bazaar Turkey what was wondered about her.

What is the source of the energy and light you reflect from the screen? Is your mood always high? Or when you feel yourself falling, what do you do to raise it up again?

I think that being able to see the big picture and not get caught up in the small details in life is directly proportional to a person’s energy. It is up to us to either brighten or darken our inner world. I prefer to use all the energy within me with good intentions. I think this is the reason for the light reflecting from the screen.

How does it feel to be one of the most followed actors on social media? It’s like someone is constantly watching you… What do you do to protect your private life from social media?

Actually, I don’t think I stay very close to social media. It cannot be said that I am active. I use my accounts on social media to raise awareness. I prefer to use some events that I think we need to take responsibility for, both individually and socially, to reach wider audiences. As an actor, I find it more appropriate to take part in social media in this way. I rarely share my private life and every experience I have on social media because I believe that the more people get involved in my life, the more the magic of the character I play is lost.

How would you describe your own style? What are your wardrobe essentials?

I don’t spend much time on my wardrobe because I work so hard that I don’t have the opportunity to do a lot of shopping. But I have a consultant whose style I like. Our tastes match and I trust him. He invests in timeless pieces. In my private life, I do not compromise on comfort. I don’t give up jeans and sneakers.

What does jewelry mean to you? What do you pay attention to when combining jewelery with your own style?

The meaning and energy of your designs are as important to me as their beauty and originality. When I express my own style of jewellery, I make sure that it is simple but sophisticated, sometimes classic and timeless.
