Will the call of the Armenian Diaspora regarding the cancellation of the Aras Bulutlu Atatürk TV series be successful?
The Armenian National Committee of America called on Disney Plus to cancel the Atatürk series, in which Aras Bulut İynemli will play Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It was a matter of curiosity how Disney Plus would behave in response to this reactionary request.
Disney had announced that the Atatürk TV series will air simultaneously with the whole world on Disney Plus on October 29, the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.
The 6-part series, starring Aras Bulut İynemli and directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin, disturbed some circles, especially the Armenian National Committee of America. Making outrageous statements about Turkey’s great leader, using the terms “genocidal” and “murderer”, the committee went further and demanded that the series be canceled in addition to its outrageous slanders.
The attitude of Disney Plus regarding the series, which is enough to make the audience emotional even with the words “The enemy who has put the enemy in the bosom of the country, will certainly save his dagger” in its teaser was a matter of curiosity.
According to the information received, the world-famous platform will present the highly anticipated 6-episode series to the Turkish people on October 29, when the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey is celebrated. There is no cancellation status.
