Serenay Sarıkaya as Şahsu
Şahsu is a psychology graduate from Boğaziçi University. At the same time, she completed her master’s degree at Boğaziçi University and continues her career as a research assistant. Adana is actually the hometown of Şahsu’s grandfather. Şahsu has a special bond with her mother, but she lost her mother 1 month ago due to illness.
Şahsu came to Adana for a research subject at the request of a teacher, but will stay in Adana for another 6 months when his teacher wants him to stay for another project. On this occasion, he wants to get to know his grandfather Davut better. When his mother was alive, his grandfather did not talk to Davut.For this reason, Şahsu is somewhat reproachful and angry with his grandfather. Maran and her grandfather are next door neighbors. Şahsu has similar characteristics with Maran and they both love water very much. Fate always brings them face to face. There is a Shahmaran story in Adana, and this story is true even though it is not believed much. Shahmaran is the king of snakes. It is a mythical creature with a snake on the lower side and a human on the upper side.
Burak Deniz as Maran
Maran is a chosen person like Şahsu. Şahsu and Maran should get married so that Şahmeran will be born. Maran is an antisocial personality. They have obsessive behaviors. He has a keen interest in water, and every morning he goes to the lakeshore and reads book. He will fall in love with Şahsu. Maran is also descended from both humans and snakes; but Maran doesn’t believe it.
Mert Ramazan Demir as Cihan
He is an assistant in the psychology department at the university in Adana. At the request of his teachers, he took part in the same project with Şahsu. He is very good with his students at the university, he is a loved assistant and a fun person. As he spends time with Şahsu, he falls in love with her. Cihan, like Maran, is descended from snakes and humans.
Mustafa Uğurlu as Davut
Davut is Şahsu’s grandfather. He had problems with his daughter, so he never met with his daughter and granddaughter.
