The Ignorant Angels series will air on Disney Plus!
Ferzan Özpetek’s The Ignorant Angels (Le Fate Ignoranti/Cahil Periler) series, in which Burak Deniz is also in the cast will be broadcast in Turkey with Disney Plus. The series, one of the Italian projects of the platform, met with the audience for the first time on April 13. The first season of the eight-episode series will begin airing in Turkey on October 19th.
R&C Productions undertook the production of the new series, inspired by the 2001 movie of the same name by Ferzan Özpetek. Le Fate Ignoranti is about Antonia who learns that her husband, who lost her in a car accident, is having an affair with a man. Shocked by the news, Antonia finds herself forming an unlikely friendship with her husband’s ex-girlfriend Michele and her strange surroundings.
The series, which has a similar story to the film, stars Burak Deniz as well as actors Serra Yılmaz, Eduardo Scarpetta, Luca Argentero and Cristiana Capotondi.
