Destan became the only Turkish series to be nominated for the Venice TV Awards!

Within the scope of the Venice Television Awards, where participation from 27 different countries took place, the TV series Destan, which attracted great attention on the ATV screen and produced by Bozdağ Film, became the only Turkish series to be nominated in the Best Telenovela category.

While the Portuguese drama “Festa é Festa (Life’s a Party)” received the gold status, Canada’s “District 31”, Belgium’s “Lisa”, Brazil’s “Genesis” and “Pantanal” were also nominated. Production and project design belongs to Mehmet Bozdağ; Directed by Metin Günay and starring Ebru Şahin, Edip Tepeli and Selim Bayraktar, the script of which was written by Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz and Nehir Erdem, “Destan” was selected as a candidate among content from all over the world and proved its success once again. The success of the series “Destan” is also very high in the international market, the series has already been bought by 31 countries.

The jury evaluated worldwide television content under 16 categories, showing that the television industry continues to be active, successful and creative.
