Star TV’s popular series Yalı Çapkını (Golden Boy), which was broadcast on Friday evenings, managed to become the most watched TV series of 2022. The series is about the events that developed when Halis Ağa, the pillar of the Korhan Family from Gaziantep, wanted his grandson Ferit, whom he loved very much and spoiled since childhood, to marry. In addition to his great success in the ratings, Yalı Çapkını also reached a large fan base on social media.
According to the news of Birsen Altuntaş from TV100, the fans of the “Yalı Çapkını” series have been disturbed by the removal of the story of the character Pelin (Buçe Buse Kahraman) from the script for weeks. They used the adjective “mistress” on social media to express their discomfort with insulting words to the character. There was a last minute development this week and the episode finale of the series was changed.
According to the first finale, there was a scene in the series where Ferit wanted to talk to İfakat and tell his family that he wanted a divorce. Moreover, Seyran overheard these words at the door while Ferit and İfakat were talking. The social media pressure of the audience was successful and a revised scene was written for the series. So the final scene was suddenly changed. According to the scenario that was changed to the series, the scene where Seyran stepped on the mansion and stuck to Pelin’s hair despite all the obstacles of Ferit was filmed.
The series, which continues to be talked about with each new episode published, is one of the most remarkable productions of 2023, as it was in 2022.
